Get Your Body Moving with FluidMotion PGH
As the warm weather rolls around, many of us feel the need or desire to get our bodies moving. Exercise is an excellent addition to your weekly routine, and has so many benefits, both physical and mental, however we’ve all struggled at times to stick to a regimen. Particularly in the summer, it can be tough to get excited about heading to the gym when the weather outside is so beautiful. Luckily for the residents of our Strip District apartments, you have the option to get a dynamic, instructor-led workout using your natural surroundings. FluidMotion is a land and water-based fitness group that focuses on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination for a happy, healthy, injury-free lifestyle.
FluidMotion’s classes take place on both land and water, and you have the option to choose from a wide array of new and exciting workouts. For those who aren’t afraid to get a little wet, you can try your hand at stand-up paddleboard yoga, where your balance, flexibility, and core strength will be challenged, FluidFit, where you’ll incorporate HIIT exercises while balancing on a BOGA FitMat in the pool, or a meditative SUP sunrise paddle, where you’ll greet the new day out on North Park Lake. They even offer pup-friendly classes, where you can bring along your four-legged best friend as you explore the lake on your paddleboard. If you’d prefer to stay on dry land, FluidMotion also offers a selection of yoga classes held in the great outdoors.
In addition to regularly scheduled classes, FluidMotion also offers pop-up classes if you’re hit with a wave of last-minute motivation. Plus, for newcomers, the organization is now offering a new member discount, as well as an unlimited summer pass that allows you to attend as many classes as your heart desires from June-September.
